Questions and answers

Everything people ask before booking a spa in Hurghada

The questions below are the ones that actually come in by email and WhatsApp before a booking. If yours is not here, message us — the answer usually takes a minute.

Before you book

Most hesitation before a first spa booking in Egypt comes down to three unknowns: what it costs in total, how you get there, and who will be in the room. All three are settled in writing before you commit.

On the day

Arrive as you are. Everything except swimwear is provided, and swimwear is only needed if your programme includes the hammam. Eat lightly, drink water, and leave valuables at the hotel — a locker is provided but there is no reason to bring anything you would miss.

Questions and answers

Do I need an account to book a spa in Hurghada?
No. Your name, email and phone number are all that is needed. The confirmation, pickup time and invoice arrive by email. Creating an account is optional and only adds an online place to track the booking.
Is hotel pickup included?
Round-trip pickup is included at no extra cost anywhere inside Hurghada. Makadi Bay, Sahl Hasheesh and El Gouna add EUR 10 per guest, shown in your total before you confirm.
How much does a massage in Hurghada cost?
From EUR 20 per person for a 60-minute full-body massage, from EUR 19 for a Turkish hammam, from EUR 25 for hammam and massage together, and from EUR 49 per person for the private couples programme.
Can I request a female therapist?
Yes, and it is a completely normal request. State it when you book and it is confirmed in writing in advance, not negotiated at the door.
What should I wear?
Come as you are. For a massage, disposable underwear is provided. For a hammam, bring or wear swimwear — the steam room, marble slab and foam wash are all done in swimwear.
When and how do I pay?
Reserving is free. You choose at booking between paying on arrival, in cash or by card at the spa, or paying online in advance with PayPal. The price is the same either way.
Can I cancel or move my booking?
Yes. Reply to your confirmation email or message us on WhatsApp. Moving a booking is free with reasonable notice, and there is no charge for a cancellation made before the pickup is dispatched.
How far in advance should I book?
A day ahead is enough most of the year and is strongly advised in winter and over European holidays, when the late-afternoon slots go first.
Is it safe and hygienic?
Naia only sends guests to partner spas it has checked: private rooms with doors, fresh linen for every guest, and trained therapists. Reviews on this site can only be left after a booking has actually been completed.
Which languages does the team speak?
English, Russian, German, Polish, French, Romanian and Arabic. Write in whichever you prefer and you will get an answer in the same language.
Can I book for a group or a family?
Yes. Up to four guests can be booked directly in the booking form, including different treatments per guest. For larger groups, send the dates and numbers through the contact form and we will confirm a total first.
Is there anything I should avoid beforehand?
Do not shave or wax on the same day as a hammam, do not book firm pressure straight after a long boat trip or desert safari, and skip alcohol before any heat treatment.

Still unsure? Ask before you book

Message the team on WhatsApp or through the contact form and you get a real answer, in your language, usually within the hour.
